I think this is the glacier that fell, Guojianhe, to the right. Village to the left high on the flank, Bangbaqqi likely wiped out. You can now understand why the the wave rebounds off the south running valley wall and turns into this valley that runs east/west. The building is facing west. If that fork/valley hadn't been there the water would have been contained a lot further down (the valley) leading to much more spectacular tv footage.
