The Millionaires Club - Introduction

This is a bulletin board / chat line for gentelpersons and their ilk, chiefly about shares and finance, current events, sport and any other interesting topics you care to talk about.

It is for current millionaires, potential millionaires and the increasing band of former millionaires. [see note below]

We appreciate wit; if you post mindless vulgarity your posts will be deleted and you will be banned.

Everyone who posts needs to be logged on with his/her user name and password

Once you are logged on you can post without having to tell the system who you are each time - it remembers.

As you post a message or reply to it, your first use of the ENTER key will separate your message into the line that is visible in the list of messages and the bit that is hidden until a reader clicks on your message.

There is no need to put NM or similar at the end of messages as the system will know if there is more than is visble and will put "[more]" at the end of the line.

Usually the previous days messages will be displayed when you log on but you can browse the archives by date as well to see days previous to that.

There are no pop ups or meta refreshes.

NOW LISTEN - although you see your own e-mail address - have you noticed that you cant see anyone elses? - that means they cant see yours

to change the appearance of the site you can go to the bottom of the posting page where you will find "edit my details" [ just above the name of the site owners - on the right ] - you can also switch the links column off should you wish

NEW - you can post links using the formula stored in links - links will appear blue in posts

you can also switch off or control timing of the auto refresh in edit my details


Note - see the title of the site is ironic - if you are American or your parents were cousins you might not get that without explanation but its a bit like calling a site for fat people the Jack Spratt Society [ see cos Jack ...never mind]
