I drove down to Miami yesterday, about an hour each way. Not too long ago it didn’t look any more prosperous than the UK. Now it’s a world apart. The roads, the cars, the homes , the shops, the general cleanliness and tidiness and lack of graffiti make it look like a different planet. And needless to say a different population mix. No medieval cult members on every pavement. .
