Friends of mine, early 30s. Engaged. She has £300k flat, he a £800k house, both in London. Few months ago were going to sell both and move to the suburbs and buy a £2m pad (he’s in finance). Now just can’t see that being sensible and are going to sell up and move to Dubai. Suspect they’re not alone.
