Biggest doubt is the panel of world experts that said none of the children were murdered.

A panel of 14 international medical experts has stated that their review of the evidence used to convict former nurse Lucy Letby found "no medical evidence" of murder or attempted murder. The experts, who are working with her defence team, argued that the deaths of the babies were due to natural causes or poor medical care.

The appeal court judge who wrote to the trial judge saying the chief prosecution witness could not be trusted.

Three former senior managers from the Countess of Chester Hospital were arrested on June 30, 2025, on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, according to Cheshire Police.
