the razy thing is the price of other houses. No wonder notaires etc are laughing when you're on a percentage

of any sale price.
And what prices. When we came here prices were low in the cities and very very low in the countryside. And you had choice.
Now, prices in cities are not far off english prices! I mean Nice or Reading, there's not a lot of difference. Go inland, Grenoble, you can get something for 150k but ....

never trust a frenchman., dunno about that maybe. Tell you what though, this site used to be good. Home page had a map of the country you could click on a region or department and search. .. so of course they scrapped that and replaced it with this shyte. Now instead of the map it's a large blank section with 'publicite' (I don't see as using an ad blocker)

Fancy seeing what's going in bordeux, .. well fukc you, piss about for 10 miunutes putting in postcodes and trying to work out how to widen the search. Time wasting and annoying, but they call it 'an upgrade' ???

Go into an item, say a house for sale, look at the pictures, come back out and they take you to the very top of the page so you have to scroll down thirty feet to find where you were.

I don't think you can trust anyone really. (unless you're dealing with someone face to face, then it's a judgement .. there's assoles everywhere), but it's true in france trying to avoid the over officious state where one has the right to only partake in two boot sales a year is a national pastime, and in commerce it's survival of the fittest. I would imagine the germans to be far better to deal with, and in my experience, most recent with the Scan Dyna, they are.
