I always hated the way the country shuts down in Blighty. Here we have trains, buses and trams on the 25th. Last Christmas day we got the train back from Bologna, via Milan and Ventimiglia. Crazy that the London tube closes , maybe they've fixed that though ? Last Christmas in the UK was I think 2002.
