My ol man had a small motor boat in Mallorca. Used to see Khashoggi’s ship there quite a bit in the early 80s. One time it was anchored off Palma Nova and me and some mates took the boat out to get a closer look. As we got near the great man (actually a little tubby bald fella) was being helped into one of the tenders. He slipped and fell flat on his face. He was pulled up by his staff and for a brief moment our eyes met. His expression spoke louder than words ever could “Fuck my life. Just Fuck it,”
