Stakeholder Capitalism explanation video.

City of London etc quietly totally down with, cough, 'stakeholder capitalism' (he doesn't mention this but you must assume they are otherwise it couldn't happen)

And also, water bills going up 50% 'to pay for upgrading the Victorian system upgrade that were not done with the money the last time water bills were raised to pay for the upgrading of the Victorian system.

From the comments (I did not know this, Scots kept Thatcher out their water)

I actually am not opposed to paying a 'bit' more if the outcome was better, but it's not. We still have water bans every year. Leaks everywhere. No more reservoirs being built. Sewage being leaked into rivers. We keep having to pay more for failure and because water companies are now fined for various things, they just push those costs onto their customers and we have no choice where we go to. We're being hit left right and centre at the moment. No wonder we're heading for recession. It's appalling.

In Scotland, water is still publicly owned. We have lower bills, higher quality water and 30% more investment per capita than the rest of the UK. We also have 90% of the UK fresh water reserves too.
