I've asked ajointe & been told no grants no, but he could be mistaken. It would certainly not be a problem

to fit panels on the roof, in terms of the 'chateau' that ain't a chateau. THEy can't really say no seeing how they are all postulating/pontificating about how important it is to save planet. DItto heat pump. ... but nowhere unobtrusive to site it really, noisy in garden, noisy in rue de la fontaine.

Still, ... the religious nut jobs who want everyone to have heat pumps,.. my god it's going to be a nightmare . I see one guy on twitter runs his a 1,300 watts, but that could be low power.. in cold weather when under quite a load it's easily double that, 3kw/hr., cert the 'older ones, ie 2018 ish. Maybe one just off a boat today is more efficient but you can only reduce consumption by so much when you're asking to get X out the other end.
