We literally never had it so good. Cars with electric windows and central locking were things that excited

us. Getting a Toyota Supra, getting an Alfa 33, getting a lancia HF Turbo, getting a Y reg mk1 golf GTi, the Audi 80 sports with the same engine but longditudial (and better). The invention of 'the mountain bike' the invention of Sky TV ,.. cheap housing, loads of work, food, cheap beer and fags, funny stuff on TV, Sony8 video, going to Cornwall and not being stuck in traffic, wide screen 16:9 tvs, jog shuttle VCRs, CDs, london etc pub music scenes, music shops, Exchange and Mart, Bargain Pages, Auto Trader, fere higher education, etc. Not The 9 o'clock News and Pamela Stephenson in black face as newsreader, Moira Stewart.

It was a golden period. Everything was possible. Everything was exciting. And at one time or another everyone had a lot of fun! 1984 - 2004. RIP
