That was the case here. Notionally needed to spend 3 months a year but nobody was counting. Now they have started looking. Heard of one couple that got booted. They were taking the piss though. Live in Spain and only came up a couple of days a year. They are silly bastards though. Building high end houses and flats all over the place but making it harder and harder to get residency, even for the rich (particularly for the rich). Who do they think are going to buy all the top dollar properties they’re building? I’m told it’s much easier now to become resident in Monaco but of course the cost of living is a lot higher, and there’s Fuck all to do.
