Amazing thing is that were no real experts available to counter the post offices assertions that Horizon was perfect. We could have torn it apart. The assertion that although it was an online system no one had remote access is a total bare faced lie which we could have proved in 5 minutes. I still wonder if the missing money was stolen on line. One problem was that the level of so called experts was so poor. Later I had one authorized IT expert who had testified in murder trials barred from the expert list when I proved he was completely incompetent ( and btw got £25,000 from him for my costs proving he was a crook. ) No murder trial he was witness at was revisited though.
