At the governors again last night. Philippinos night. Great evening of kultcha. Even their folk dances are better than most. I asked the Governor who was formerly the ambassador there, why they were such great people, almost universally. We could not come up with a reason. Odd thing is they are 99% Catholics. As I said so are the Irish. Interestingly their folk music sounds Greek, bouzouki like.
