Yep, I see less n less electronic/valve radio stuff at boot sales. As there was no #33 plot !!!!!! I had
to do an entire circuit of the sale following an operative on his bike to get back to roughly where I'd started. On that leisurely tour (quite late, about half 7) I saw mostly people selling: cloths, kids games, bric a brac, old welder/electric lawnmower, tableware, books, washing line, tools, left over laminated floor tile, etc. I had batteries in both radios so the music was on throughout. .. but just a bad day really. Walkers and moochers and not even thick on the ground. "I need a radio for my chicken coup" but no serious people who wanted to buy quality items. I mean 40 euros for a VOX wah wah pedal, what's not to like!!??
[I'd rather bring stuff back than sell it cheap ... but I do have a '50 euro mindset', ie sell everything I have, 50 euros/item, that's quite a lot of money. 50 x 2000 (gets out calculator) 100k] Some stuff's worth more .. electric upright piano, revox tape player needs new transformer, Canon A1+ lens+ case etc, Pentax ditto, etc etc. but then there's stuff that's worth 20 so you get un haverage ..... and also it might be less than 2000, possibly 750 .. in which case either up the average [that's enough rambling, ed]
