FACTS Overnight update Iran - USA / Israel The USA and the Houthis ( Mohammed Abdulsalem and Abdulmalik Al Ajri ) meet in Oman - sidelining Iran . Agreed that no US nor Israeli assets would be attacked but Saudi assets would continue to be targeted. Trump has lost patience with Saudi and believes he can turn the Houthis away from a falling Iran Iranian police nationwide directed to leave their police stations Iranian government bureaucrats directed to leave their offices Iranian IRGC troops directed to leave barracks All above personnel ordered to move into hospitals and schools Many congregating in cities on the streets as a deterrent to potential street protests Explosive devices In Kurdish areas of Iran a regular nightly occurrence targeting security personnel and infrastructure Scores of US and Israeli planes flew over Iranian cities without interception on an exploration mission. Makes sense that Iran ordered their troops and police to move out of potential infrastructure targets Centcom successfully enforcing the blockade in the Straits of Hormuz - no Iranian vessels have passed through for weeks now as the destroyer USS Rafael Peralta has been charged with main responsibility for the blockade Saudi requested the U.K. France and Pakistan for military assistance and asked China to pressure the Houthis to ease their attacks. The Houthis are consolidating their gains and seemed to have ( temporarily? ) halted their advance Somih Ismail and Yusuf Said Al Din Rashad Zain , two senior Hamas commanders and 3 other Hamas operatives eliminated. Please note again that the IDF are now collaborating with anti Hamas Gazans who are providing intelligence. Both parties are publicly content in acknowledging this intelligence sharing confirming Hamas no longer has the controlling influence of the past and Gazans are prepared to challenge them Israel continues to bomb legacy Hezbollah positions in Southern Lebanon as France and the EU meet with Lebanese officials to attempt to extend UNIFIL’s role - opposed by both the USA and Israel and apparently by Lebanon too . They prefer a US presence rather than the Spanish and Irish who were absolutely ineffective in their peacekeeping role In a significant diplomatic win Israel and Morocco mutually formalised the commitment to open up embassies in each other’s capitals Not one Hamas rocket fired from Gaza for 4 months Only three ( successfully intercepted rockets fired from Lebanon by Hezbollah in last 2 months ) I think this is as good an indication that both proxies militarily have been defeated. Israeli objectives now is to ensure they don’t have the resources to rearm . With Syria opposed to Iran and Iran’s capabilities severely weakened this is a very real possibility that both Hamas and Hezbollah are finished as military threats to Israel
