To cheer myself in these psychopathic days I purchased a tape deck demagnetiser. Bought it this am, already in the post. Tape heads, get magnetised and you lose higher frequencies. https://www.leboncoin.fr/ad/photo_audio_video/3235313139 I tried making one but too much fukcing about finding ac/ac adaptors ... you find 3 in the collection and all 3 no continuity on primary coil. FIrst saw this 3 weeks ago ... longer, and still on sale today! Whereas other deamags are quickly snapped up, (at least since I started looking, bought within 24 hours of listing) this one wasn't.)
