I worked for Abbey Life for 3 months when I lost my taxi licence overnight as they suddently decided after 3 years being blind in one eye was a problem. The worst white collar job I ever had. They got you to compile a hot 100 of friends and family you could flog life insurance too. I was just not cut out to sell life etc insurance. Not my thing. "In previous interviews, he told of his career in the insurance industry - including as a door-to-door salesman with Abbey Life. He said: 'Abbey was a really tough job, I was only 18 and I was probably too young to sustain it.' The tree looks like it's going to carry on living and should make a full recovery but it's a close thing, you never know with the maniacs currently running europe. I was at the dump yesterday, saw a woman getting two of the tip staff to unload a decent 6 foot tall dresser/cuboard. I woke up this am and thought about it. How fukcing bent is this continent, throwing good stuff in tips, while at the same time raving like fukcing utter nutcases about saving the planet. I despise our current political climate with a hatred usually reserved for things like rusted bolts and people who double park on white lines at Aldi.
