BREAKING:
🇸🇦 TotalEnergies announces the Saudi Satorp refinery will be indefinitely shut down following recent strikes on oil infrastructure.
It is a major 460,000 bpd facility processing heavy crude into fuels like diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel.
It supplies a big part of Saudi Arabia's domestic fuel needs an indefinite shutdown would cause local shortages, higher import costs, and hit the kingdom's refining self-sufficiency.
