Talking to my American mate Doc on the boat yesterday.. He's led an interesting life, travelled all over the world, ex US military (psychologist).. We were talking about travel and I was talking about visiting Checkpoint Charlie, how moving the stories in the museum were. Mentioned that I regretted not visiting before the wall came down. Told me how he drove across the border at checkpoint Charlie, in 1962. I wasn't even born. Edited on 19/08/2025 at 19:01:32.
