To a large extent I agree with you. There's a strong element of sufference and 'martydom' at play., and within that 'stratergy' of sacrifice the view that their respnse will cost Israel the 'PR battle' (not the war.. because if they go 'we all go', and it's not going to happen that 'hamas beat Israel')

It's an absolute ball ache balls up from top to bottom, kept in motion by both sides with almost unachievable aims - Israel could get there if the Arabs fukced off to live elsewhere, it is possible. It's not possible the Palastinians and their supporters on the outside can overthrow Israel. /// although as I say, never say never, but if they do 'expect fireworks.
