At the governors mansion to night for a do. Opening of the latest bit of the museum as you ask. ( Sir ) Lyndsey Hoyle ( Speaker of the Commons ) is there. We have a chat about football, big Sam and Bolton ( he supports them ) rugby league etc and the hotel a bit. You dont pay taxes he says as he prepares to move off. I play by the rules say I, I dont make them. He has the grace to laugh. I always thought he was tall , from the tele etc. actually quite short.
