I'm thinking that would be around net if you call the standard oap paid as paying the tax. (you just give

back the old age pension, grand a month)

4k a month is a fortune that would keep me awake at night dreaming of how to spend it. Your house is paid off.

Ok, you've got
non-discretionary__monthly outgoings
400 a month on food
250 council tax
150 electric
150 gas
100 private health insurance
100 house car insurance
50 water
50 internet/phone
50 car tax
_____________
1,300 a month

discretionary__monthly outgoings
250 entertainment: theatre, cinema, eating out
100 camping car insurance
150 clothes
100 shoes
100 wine etc
50 camping car tax
50 pet insurance
50 birthday present budget
50 wedding gift budget
40 camping car fuel
________________
940 a month

Total - 2,240 a month

That leaves, the thick of end 1,800 quid a month burning a hole in the back of your M&S khaki slacks

OK, say you pay more tax after you've handed over all the old age pension, another 600 a month, you'e still got 1,200 a month to piss up the wall on robot barbeque dishwashers etc.

1,200 is as much as the net wage of many who you'll need to import to peel your grapes and check the pressure in the camping car back tyre., and they have not even begun to spend money on the non-discretionary stuff yet.

Moral of the story: if born a white man and currently 24 with a degree and no job or house just kill yourself and come back as a black nyphomanic lesbian. Have 4 kids with three different fathers, sit back and count the benefits as they come in the front door. Retire at 18.
