We have acquired an Eglu…. By means of carrying it up the drive from next door where it was unused. I’ve completed the fence to hopefully keep 🦊 out. And currently we have 2 chcicken and 6 duck eggs incubating in a little machine that rotates them regularly and keeps them warm. I kind of reckon it’ll all end in tears…. Except for the local Todd…. But Hamstress and Hamlet loving the experience. My parents used to hatch chickens when they first married, in a flat in Barrow, so it’s a shame they’re not around to share the fun.
