Missus had a hip replacement on Monday About 50 odd years ago my old man had his first. As I recall there was a 2 week hospital stay and a long time on crutches and recovery. She had it in the afternoon and was discharged the next day. Yesterday she stopped taking the strong painkillers, just on paracetamol now, so not out of her nut (well she is, but..) Been trying to do stuff around the house, made the %&!*@ing bed this morning before I could stop her. I think I might need one before long, started to get the same symptoms she had a year ago
