correct, but the output level is raised by the cambridge audio preamp (I briefly mention but don't show)
to line level, so same output as CD etc and can go straight into the 'tape' input on the scan dyna. It has two phone inputs, LP12 could go direct into phone2 like the Dual 1249 is to phone1 but ... it's a lot quieter. I can balance the levels out with the two sliders but the power stage of the amp would be cranked .. so better with the Cambridge MC boost to line level. it's just a bit too quiet the MC cart without some boost. Cambridge pre amp has settings for mc and moving magnet.
