How is this for timing...
After the grounding of the Concorde fleet following the Paris crash, the first test flight was conducted, halfway across the Atlantic and back.
The date ?
11/09/2001.
The first flight with passengers after the 2000 grounding landed shortly before the World Trade Center attacks in the United States. This was not a commercial flight all the passengers were BA employees.
