Talking of films, I watched (tried to) TEnet last night. Realised a minute in I'd seen it yrs back.
Short answer, 5.4\10
It's 'really not good enough'. Much of the dialoge I couldn't make out, particularly the femme what's her face, Natasha RIchardson? I was constantly changing volume. Ken Bragnah is good, Patterson good, the lead ... no so much. Needs more direction and soul.
The start ... it's well shot, but soooooo implausible suspension of belief levels begin to be breached after he wakes from tooth pulling in Ukraine rail yard.
Entropy and the whole thing ... it's a fine idea on paper I suppose, but ...
it's also let down by shoddy cheap film action. THe freeway car chase, like something out of 'the fall guy' with Lee Majors (Lee Majors played a stuntman who had regular weekly adventures).
The highjacked load, what the hell!!! RIdiculous, as if they would just allow a group of semi-trucks to surround them without becoming 'concerned'.
The 747 scene. You watch that and you think ... cheap.
However, something that is entertaining, understated, genuinely creepy, and moving, and when it endz you think 'hmmm pretty good that!'
