As you may recall Slim and his wife and I had dinner with this couple a few months before these events. Much depends on where the boat actually was. Mostly at Cruz Bay they do not allow you to stay inside the harbour and you have to tie up to mooring balls outside. Out there it’s open , can be choppy and there are currents. If you went overboard there you could well be carried out to sea. If inside the harbour that would be very unlikely.
