I had the great displeasure of travelling yesterday on the Paris suburban railway to CDG. From the insane ticket machines to filthy trains, to the criminals being escorted to the Calcutta jail and the rattling tracks it sucks. Pay with your touch cc on the Tube and it automatically works out the cheapest fare and charges you that. No need for tickets or the stupid passes that Paris makes you buy before you can buy any ticket. And you can’t pay by cc , no touch gates.
