News of the Bi-monthly (news of the 2months) I got the Volvo dun. Yes, just before the end of the 2month deadline to take the retest I have finally finished all the work needed to pass on the Volvo. This morning I went south to Bourge en Bresse to meet a gentleman to buy his two Continental tyres for 40 hurroossss. He then escorted me to a tyre place that changed all four tyres for 15e piece = 60. So: 4 tyres + fitting - 100 Wheel bearing - 65 (ebay) Socket to remove the wheel hub - 15! Ball joint - 65 (ebay) Rear brake caliper - 65 (ebay) Brake fluid - 15 Brake light switch - free DIY repair (25huroes in the local parts shop) 2 back lights - 50 Bulbs - 10 + 80 for the CT two months ago and a tenner for the retest! - 90 ______________________ 475 huross!! Now, the test centre is closed today., because, france. I am going to go tomorrow and say, car's done, retest date and time? and if he says I can't see it before Friday, I expect to not be penalised for that. The law says I have 2months, it's not my problem if he can't do the retest before Friday.
