Were I to take over a major company one of my first acts would be to close the HR department ( now known as the People Team ) . We never had such a thing at CSY, and had no staff problems and very low turnover . The new owners of course do and staff morale is now at an all time low with both managers having resigned, two staff members made redundant and others who have been there 20 years muttering about leaving.
