talking of cruises....
it just so happened that the beeb aired 'triangle of sadness' last night which is described as a satirical black comedy that 'explores themes of social hierarchy and inequality, making it a sharp commentary on modern society'
" Key Themes Social Hierarchy The film highlights the absurdities of wealth and privilege, showcasing how the rich often operate outside societal norms. Inequality It addresses the disparities between the wealthy guests on a luxury cruise and the service staff, ultimately flipping the power dynamics in a survival scenario. "
still don't get how the title is relevant but if there is any 'sadness' it is that one of the leading actors, charlbi dean, died from bacterial sepsis a couple of months before it was released which was related to her having had her spleen removed following a car accident a few years earlier and the scar is quite evident when you see her in her bikini. only 32, very sad
anyway despite being at least 45 mins too long it is worth a watch though no lols for me
