Miliband learns from Mossad….
Father drags air conditioning unit out of home seconds before it explodes Firefighters tell family they could have lost top floor of Milton Keynes home
A father dragged a blazing air conditioning unit out of his home seconds before it exploded.
Gregory Lawless woke up to see a flicker of light coming through the bedroom door, and found the portable air conditioning unit in flames at the top of the stairs.
The 54-year-old recruitment director, of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, shouted “fire” and dragged the machine down the stairs and onto the driveway at 2.50am on Monday. Seconds later, the unit exploded.
Mr Lawless’s wife Ainsley, 46, said: “The fire brigade came out and they explained that, if the compressor had gone off, we would have lost the top floor of the house.
“The unit is incredibly heavy and it took him [Mr Lawless] about 20 seconds to get it from the top of the stairs onto the driveway.”
