Just down the road from me, the Mormon church has an apartment. They post young guys there for a few months at a time. Always nice clean living American lads, I have had a few interesting conversations with a few of them over the years in the local park. They don't appear to have much to do, sit in the park or on the prom. Always recognisable with the white shirts and little name badges. One told me he was going to college when he'd finished his stint to study engineering. Better than nat. service I suppose. A few months on the Cote I mean. Edited on 10/04/2026 at 12:56:00.
