Carl Beech was jailed for 18 years in July 2019 after he falsely claimed to have been raped and abused by a group of high-profile politicians and public figures. The convicted paedophile, 58, was not due to be released until he had completed half his sentence in March 2028. The Telegraph can reveal he was quietly freed from prison last week without any of his victims being informed. A Ministry of Justice spokesman said: “Carl Beech’s crimes were shocking and had far-reaching consequences, and our thoughts remain with all those affected.
