internal walls in lounge I knocked down. all plaster now removed by rain. I could put them in the barn,
not too big a job withs a big wooden wheel barrow I've got, shuttle to the kitchen steps that lead into lounge, then transfer from a stack truck to the barrow, wheel through lounge out front door and around and into the barn. To be used as and when, possibly in making the poelle de mass, or to rebuild a wall .. point is they no longer need to be in garden as clean, and I now have the barn (as opposed to just the cellar, which was full anyway) to stock them in. Very heavy, so good in both heat storage in the case of a Swedish type fire and as a wall that blocks noise. WC, washing machine, etc. I've also got a large amount of stone. Less uniform, but heavier and more attractive.
(any building work like a fire with brick, stone, or a mix would need the lounge floor reinforcing from the cellar below, which has a good concrete floor)
