We were on the train to Italy this am. Realised I had forgotten my passport. Mrs FTD said that the last few crossings, the police had boarded the train on the return to France, but hadn't checked papers. I thought, Sod's Law says the one time I DON'T have it, they will check. Anyway, a very nice lunch in Menton. Stopped in Antibes this eve to watch the sunset over a beer.
