IBBC surely? Look here >>> Wish you were still here? The US-Iran war has wiped out Dubai's tourist industry so badly it's losing almost £500 million a day - but the real victims are the millions of now jobless foreign labourers who can't afford to go home
One sentance in and already it's US-IRan war, no mention of who actually started this war. Israel. It's the Israel and lap dog USA-Iran war to be accurate.
Moving on from the title! to the article itself >>> we don't have to go far >>>
'Dubai is dead, its status as a target for retaliatory Iranian missiles and drones since the US attack in February having spooked almost any foreigners from coming.'
US attacks, not Israel no
moving on>>> 'Despite this disastrous news for a business that had been valued in the hundreds of millions, again managers were at pains to be clear that this was nothing to do with the US-Iran conflict.'
painfully further on >>> 'When the war between Iran and America broke out, and missiles and suicide drones headed towards the city's glittering skyline, many wealthy expats - the influencers and tycoons - took the first opportunity they could to fly out of the UAE.'
Let's remember the good times though, before Israel decided to bomb Iran.>>> #Of course, even before the conflict in the Middle East erupted, labourers in the Gulf faced risk. It is an uncomfortable fact that thousands of workers, often from countries such as India, Nepal and Bangladesh, die each year. In 2022 a report estimated as many as 10,000 migrant workers die across the Gulf each year. Most of the deaths are unexplained.'
