good chart. The whole thing about 'need more power to mine as fewer coins remain' (my earlier comment about
relatively few left to mine), .. what's to stop 'the community' saying, 'we'll just leave those last 3million? 'coins' 'unmined'. Fuck it, 17 million in circulation, plus or minus the million lost, that'll do it. Not worth bothering with the rest.'
Is this realistic? reasonable? Possible? If not why not. I think we should be told.
Maybe one day when we actually get fusion, or just put some RR smr on the case they can be mined. But honestly, would it be a problem for the running of the whole ledger side of things if not all coins were in circulation? (given that say as much as 10% of supply down back of various sofas anyway)
You could argue value would increase with less limited coin in circulation.
Only thing i'v got against all this is that there are approx 40 billion other forms of digital currency. (I know, get a book and educate yourself,. but somehow I've not got round to it as I'm not really in the market to bother investing in Donal Trump etc coins. Just a casual question/
