when did you buy the flat in Islington, 199..6 I'm thinking. A good move. 600k now, well you did need the

money to do other things with ie buy in Nice but if you could have rented the place out and still had it now we're talking bitcoin like levels of goodness.

re: moving on now, and price of doing so, yeah, if you look at that place with a well, you pay the notaire and gov inc in fees and taxes 8%.

THick end of them getting 50k on a 500k transaction. In the farm above with the well ... I would pay those assoles more than I would to install a septic tank, and the bathroom suite!

I had a thought this am about 20years. It's now 20 since I arrived in the DOrdogne.

If we think about this, I have been in France the same length of time as 1986 - 2006

In the 20 years before that, I started in 1966 at two years old.

If I could go back 20 years and move directly into that barn ... my health has taken a bad hit since 2006. Maybe some sugar diabetic relation to it, i'll find out when I see the doctor with the blood test results.

Course if I could go back to 2006 I'd keep on going, back to 1986 .. .. which was actually only 10 years post the hottest summer of '76., so I'd defo go back to that and tell myself, do this, and, don't do this, don't do that.

so re the price of the flat then ... L2M warmest,.. so he did well there, now new info about the flat in Islington and £165k sale price. We don't know if any mortgage to pay off, can assume likely maybe 25k so.. leaving £140k max. Take out associated costs of flat renting before moving, rental storage of fishing rods, moving costs, fees, push bike trailer hire, payage fees for bikes with trailer etc.

Leaves me to deduce with all available evidence to hand you bought your flat for £125k and it's now worth 500k hurrooes as we've had to moderate the 6 fold as cote d'azur already relatively expensive compared to elsewhere

editor's note: estimates were thrown off by D.C. Comics talk of 'advising on flat prices around 40k chatter'
