further proof that 24hours of constant acceleration like that (9meters a second squared) means you would cover New York to Half way to Hawaii in one second. If only I could harvest this force and use it to get places fast when I need to .. although it would actually take me 24 hours of constant acceleration to get from New York to hawaii in 1.5 seconds. I'd also than have to plan my stopping time. If you go from 3600 miles in a second to 0 miles in one second you need quite a few seconds to slow down otherwise you're looking at pulling some very large G numbers, in the region of 575G if you slowed in 10 seconds (made up figures) This would cause my eyes to pop out my head and leave me unable to actually see Hawaii.
