On the first day of Chanukah, there he was, a Muslim man protecting Jews, an immigrant defending Australian values , an Australian saving fellow Australians. That’s Australia. We love our neighbours, who have come from all over to make this place the most successful multicultural country in the world, a place where Jews, Muslims, everyone can live in harmony. Let Ahmed Al Ahmed be a reminder: if anyone ever attempts such an evil act again in our country, there will always be an Aussie just sitting down for coffee who will run towards the danger to help good triumph over evil.''
