VAT on schools is hitting hard. Half of Hamlet’s classmates will leave and go State for 6th form. He’s not happy. School sent us the usual terms bill. We’ve already paid until end of sixth from to dodge Rach’s tax. But they tried to charge us £750 a year for skool dinners! As that’s now separated out for VAT reasons. Sneaky beggars. However we’d got confirmation from the school at the time of paying in advance that dinners were covered. Just hope the school is around for him to eat the dinners!
