Trying to do company annual return for Hamstress’s dormant company. Have to do new gov.uk ID apparently. Says she has one, tries the password. Nope. Ok, reset password. Get an email with code, enter Next it will send another code to phone. Nope, nothing appears Try again Nope, send code again please Nothing Send code again please 30 minutes later all 3 codes appear at once No idea which to use so try them all None work Now it says locked out for 2 hours Why is this not surprising? Oh, and the sight says it’s in Beta mode, which I recall has been the case for several years now. Imagine that in a private company: IT boss wouldn’t last 5 minutes
