App says it’s Rock Samphire. Marsh samphire is generally considered better for fresh eating due to its fresh, crunchy, and salty flavor, while rock samphire is more of an acquired taste with a stronger, sometimes bitter or "petroleum-like" flavor that is often pickled to make it more palatable. Marsh samphire is easier to harvest and more widely available, whereas rock samphire is more difficult and dangerous to collect, typically found on cliffs and requiring specialized equipment
