My grandfather in uniform during WW2.
My gran came over to visit us in the UK from Aus the 1970s, by then he was already dead.
So I never met him. My gran was confused by the money, as Britain had gone decimal since she left. Lovely lady. Elizabeth.
Died in his early 50s, illness caused by the gas he encountered in the Army.
