Cagne sur Mer, or Merde as it was called in the 70s when untreated sewage was pumped out into the Med there.McDonalds we’re looking for a site for their first SoF restaurant and couldn’t believe their luck when they got a sea front site in Cagne. They built it and all was good until the first pump out when it stank. The McD lasted about 5 years before it was torn down. nothing there now.
