i heard on gbn that they can't be easily flipped/toggled and it was likened to not being easily able to
put a car into reverse gear on an old manual but instead of pushing down on the gear stick and then moving into position the engine cut off switch has to be pulled out and then moved to either of the 2 positions
also a wiring fault on 2 switches would seem unlikely
