I went to the dentist yesterday thinking I was going to get upper left molar filled. I'd had a course of
antibiotics in October for the ravaging tooth ache coming from it, and said dentist gave the antibiotics and the appointment for November. This was moved forward a week for urgency, but by the time the app came yesterday the anti biotics had done their thing and only cold drinks were a problem. I get there and she says let's have a scan. We go to another room, I put chin on thing and thing goes around my head. Back to the 'office' she says, the tooth will have to come out. Not the tooth with the hole in it, the tooth (molar) at the back next to it. ffsake I thought. Really? Yes look, it's one big cavity, into the nerve. You can have it done today or come back in two weeks? She pulled it out. It took a lot of pulling. I left feeling as if I'd been robbed of something I'd been carrying around for over 50 years. I didn't even get to keep the tooth as her assistant was on the phone and 'had done something with it'.
